“Biofuels, Biomass, and Biodiversity (B3) to Help Put the Brakes on Global Warming”

Thomas Fricke (aka I Wayan Tomblos) is a serial ecopreneur now living in Banjar Pengembak, Sanur.  He has been involved in appropriate technology, organic agriculture, and renewable energy since first alighting in Bali in the mid-1970s.  Thomas co-created the first organic vegetable and biogas schemes in Bali then and organized the first Indonesian Fair Trade coffee initiative in Aceh in the 1990s through his pioneering organic business ForesTrade.  He will be making a presentation about his biofuel and biomass ventures in Aceh and Lombok (and hopefully soon in Bali) through his new company Sustainable Trade and Consulting.
