What will be done: This project aimed to reduce blindness and improve eye health in Bali.

 

What was the community benefit:

A total of 474 peoples were checked for eye problems. Glasses were issued to 309 people who required visual correction, and 240 people received eye drops to treat infections. Early treatment of eye infections can prevent more serious problems and possible blindness later.

Six people, identified from the screenings, received cataract surgery on that day.

The Investment was: Rp 27.500.000
