Club Business
Announcement of secretary elect Tika, still vacant positions for next year are Vice President and treasurer. It’s time for our members to step up and take some responsibility and gain some insight into how the club operates.
Also need members on the 10 year anniversary handover committee planned for year end (July), members need to answer the email re their thoughts on this event
Brian reviewed the Pets meeting the focus was on training, membership and including our youth, Roteract and interact clubs in our activities and projects. Suggestions were made to invite them to attend our once a month Kakiang meeting. Tika will get Dora to follow up
RYLA info, from Brian, proposed that one Roteract member be sponsored by RCBUS
Healthy day was moved to August 2018 as Sue Bishop will be away
JFF joint project with Seminyak is being put together
Tika also proposed a location on a Sunday in Gianyar, were they could combine with other Yayasans agreed good location with many attending due to road closure on Sunday morning
March 13 helmet delivery with Chris at Tk school Peliantan all welcome. Plus 2 more schools after Nyepi.
Sue is selling tickets to their Rumah Sehat fund raiser ‘Village on the Green‘, scheduled for Aug 28
Tika proposed projects of adding wash basins to schools as a ongoing project as all schools do not have proper washing facilities.
Dave and Diane, gave an update on their mental health project in Gianyar to be run by Dr Krishnaand Dr Raya Bali’s competent psychiatrist the forming of the health model with three levels of care to help reduce the Pusang in the community education and support will be offered to give better mental health here in Bali
