ANNOUNCEMENTS, CORRESPONDENCE, REPORTS
Our President Bruce opened our meeting promptly at 6PM, after a wonderful and animated social time and after a delicious meal thanks to the Maya chefs. It was positively delightful – a full meal with deserts! Maya’s food is so well done!
IPP/Treasurer Allan sold raffle tickets for an item that Bruce had brought to be drawn at the meeting’s end.
Bruce then asked members and our eight guests to introduce themselves and say a little about where they were from what they do.
Bruce talked about our 3rd Annual Christmas Fundraising Buffet Dinner next Sunday at the Maya, starting at 6PM. He also discussed a few of our current projects including our Helmets Project, which has already given out 200 helmets in the Ubud area; our support for the John Fawcett
Foundation to help with vision; and the Bali Children’s Foundation, which gives scholarships to Balinese students who couldn’t go to school without it.
Allan also mentioned that with additional contributions we were now able to support 2 people to attend the RYLA event in Java early next year.
