Previous business:

We are sending 2 Rotoractors to RYLA, we will invite them to the next meeting at Kakiang, 14th May to hear their information of the RYLA they attended.

Our clubs 10 year anniversary with John Fawcett Foundation will be held on 19 & 20 Jun 2018 at Desa Buahan Kaja Payangan.  Every thing is set, we just need the paper to send to Kepala Desa.  Tika and Dora will make it happen.

Our helmets project distributed 108 new helmets to SD 1 Ubud on 12th April.

Anothere library founded and stocked by our club.  The new library Lilawista Sastra, books bought and already given to Pak Ping 18th April.

Rumah Sehat Healthy day date are waiting for Sue Bishop to return.

Tika will go to Rotary District Conference 10th – 12th May in Semarang

 

Remainder: dues for members is before 30th June

 

New Business:

Gitgit Water Project still needs more discussions with all members.

We need a guest speaker for the next Maya meeting.  If you come across someone who you think other members might want to hear, please contact Brian to see what dates are available and if he concurs about the suitability.

David Kuper of Temesi Recycling (http://temesirecycling.com/ ) is a non-profit organization that provides a decentralized low cost, low tech, and low risk options for waste management. Temesi Recycling is open to the public and always welcome visitors, contact the facility:  0361- 7438083, temesi.compost@gmail.com

Temesi Recycling provides a sustainable waste management facility. 90% received waste is recycled with only 10% being disposed on the landfill. Annually processes 21,000 tons of waste. Produces 5,000 tons of high quality aerobic compost per year.
