Meetings 2nd Monday of each month at Kakiang Garden Café, Jl Raya Andong, Ubud, and last Monday of each month at Maya Resort and Spa, Ubud at 5.30 – 7 pm.

Announcements, reports, project updates, and guest welcoming.

Members and guests welcomed by President Tika.

President Tika outlined her meeting with MOH, Bali, asking for help with Gianyar Regency, memorandum of understanding, building 20 TPST in Gianyar, which are already completed.

Marion Hook reported on meeting with Bard Webber from Rotary International Magazine. His focus will be culture in Bali and Rotary Club Bali Ubud Sunset will appear in a future edition of the magazine.

Jim Hook outlined the brochure development and website redesign Utilising- this is a tool to hopefully get new members. Website and brochure will have same focus with information on our projects etc. and how to join. Members will be asked to contribute.

Marion reported on the Taro Go Fund Me results, which has reached 48% of target. First installment given to Brian (treasurer). Congratulations to Taro who have been nominated as one of 28 villages in Indonesia to compete in a national competition.

Jim announced a “ donate with a friend” ; Gupri donated 100,000 IDR towards Taro Go Fund Me, and appointed Sue as next meeting’s friend for 100,000 IDR. We are committed to a goal of 10 new members!

Marion appointed marketing chair, after members voted in favour. She asked if members could please read he r marketing plan for discussion next meeting.

Guest Speaker- Philip Yusenda, spoke about his foundation to help Balinese to express their feelings in dealing with disabled children and family members.
