Meetings 2nd Monday of each month at Kakiang Garden Café, Jl Raya Andong, Ubud, and last Monday of each month at Maya Resort and Spa, Ubud at 5.30 – 7 pm.

Announcements, reports, project updates, and guest welcoming.

Overseas members not attending: Don and Sue Bennet, Neal From Fern Linden and Allan Starr.
Guests: Dr. Dyah Laksmi; and her assistant Praba, Kadek Erawan, Cindy Hilbrink, Charlotte Kato and 9 Rotary members of Sivakasi Sparkler D3212, India.

Meeting was conducted by past president Brain Goldman.
Guests were introduced.

The final meeting of the year will take place on Sunday 8th December at Sue and Ray Bishop’s home at Keramis. It will include a potluck fellowship (all bringing dish to share!). Thanks to Ray for hosting, (unfortunately Sue unable to attend, in Australia recovering from surgery,) and for Renee for managing this project!

It was agreed that RCBUS would sponsor 2 Roteracts to attend District conference in Bali. Conformation is required re cost and what it includes.
Fred Pfeifer of Rotary Club Ignacio D5150, Novato CA, has very kindly donated US$ 300 to be used for work on Kendampal water project.
Donations of sewing thread were collected for The Sewing for Living project.
RCBUS projects were described to our guests. Projects include, water projects, taro Trash Education, Sewing for Living and sponsorship to Bali Sehat Healthy Days.

Renee made financial donation to the Taro Trash Project “Go Fund Me” collection and tagged Brian as her friend for next meeting.
Guest DR. Dyah Laksmi Dewi spoke of her work at UNICARE clinic in Ubud. She explained her personalised approach to treating patients, a method which she is training other physicians in.

Ray distributed a copy of Rotary Internationals’ Four Way Test, which should be read aloud at start of every meeting.
Due to heavy traffic, the delegation from India did not arrive till 18.45 pm! They gave a presentation which described the formality of their club and their projects. The 2 clubs exchanged flags and many photos taken!
The formal meeting was closed at 7pm, many members stayed to socialise with the members from India.

Thank you to Ray and Renee for providing Raffle prizes, won by Marion and Cindy.
Next meeting Sunday 8th December Fellowship lunch/meeting at Sue and Ray’s home, Keramis.
