Meetings 2nd Monday of each month at Kakiang Garden Café, Jl Raya Andong, Ubud, and last Monday of each month at Maya Resort and Spa, Ubud at 5.30 – 7 pm.

The meeting was opened by past president Brian, standing in for President Tika who has just had a baby boy last week – congratulations to Tika and family.

The District Governor was in Seminyak last week and Brian, Ray and Kadek attended meeting. Kadek was inducted as our newest member, welcome Kadek and congratulations!!!
The Four Way test was discussed and read by Brian.
Guests introduced themselves.
Brian reported $566 was paid to Rotary International; Past member Bruce Briscoe was reimbursed after resigning half way through financial year.
Brian reminded member’s fees due by 30th June 2020.
Bill and Judith Schneider visiting from USA on March, Judith past member of RCBUS, possibility to arrange a JFF day while they are here.
Marion discussed the outcome of the meeting to discuss the up and
coming Fund Raising event – Chilli Cook Off on Sunday 22nd March at the Melting Pot in Ubud.
Members have to buy 5 tickets each at 100,000rp and either sell or donate them. Each ticket includes 1 raffle ticket.
Information of the day’s events- doors will open at midday, tasting begins at 1pm, voting for best chilli at 5pm, cost on day at the door 75,000rp, with tasting kit, raffle tickets 3 for 50,000 and 7 for 100,000. Music and other events on the day!
Sewing for living Project – items for this project brought by Sue and Kadek
Sadly one of our members passed away end of December and a memorial fund in his name Jim Hook(RIP) was set up. The money raised so far US$ 4,000 will be donated to the projects Jim was working on.
