Upcoming Meeting/Speaker19 May 2014

Rtn Don Bennett will speak about a new software program called RACHEL and Rasberry pi (with KALite“no-internet” server software)
Overview:  RACHEL was compiled from 12 Public resources of public books and videos, primarily from the Kahn Academy, and loaded onto a USB thumb drive (32 gig). The intent was to allow students access to these educational materials, without the use of the internet (offline).  In Africa, this resource was passed around and downloaded onto computers over 10,000 times the first year.
