We are a project-focused club, living on an island where huge financial disparities exist. To the tourist, Bali appears prosperous, but this is only a veneer. Bali also includes whole villages lacking water and electricity; no roads to reach village populations; schools with no toilets or water; libraries with no books; children and families lacking the most basic knowledge of hygiene; and children unable to attend school because parents cannot afford school fees. These are all problems RCBUS has addressed over the past years, completing more than 20 projects located in schools, villages and rice fields. We can only do this because our international partners have taken on the serious problems faced by our Balinese communities and have generously made it possible for our club to do this important work.
We invite you, your Rotary Club or other organization to consider joining us in this important work. Please contact info [at] rotarybaliubudsunset.org for project opportunities. For member information contact us at membership [at] rotarybaliubudsunset.org.
